How to Fit Your New Enmo Mouthguard

Step by Step Fitting Instructions

1. Boil the Water
   Bring a small pan of water to a boil. Remove from heat and let it settle for 5 to10 seconds to avoid overheating the mouthguard.
2. Soften the Guard
   Place the mouthguard in the hot water for 20 to 30 seconds. It should begin to soften. The mouthguard should be pliable but firm when removed from the water.
3. Position and Press
   • Allow the mouthguard to cool for about 5 seconds, it should still be warm but not hot.
   • Place it in your mouth, pressing gently with your upper teeth.
   • Use your fingers to compress the sides and tongue to mould the inner gel layer snugly against your teeth and gums.
4. Bite down
   Breathe in through your mouth and gently bite down. This helps the guard suction into place, creating a tight and secure fit. Hold in position for 30 to 60 seconds until cooled.
5. Cool with Cold Water
   Remove the mouthguard and place it in cold water for a few seconds to set the shape and retain the mould.
6. Test the Fit
   It should feel comfortable, secure and easy to breathe while allowing clear speech and hydration. If it's still loose or bulky, the process can be repeated.
